SENIORS RESULTS
WINNER was HAMPTON ROVERS by 15 points.
Ormond lost their second game for the year when they went down to ladder leaders Hampton Rovers in front of a huge crowd to celebrate a 150's years of football on Saturday.
Ormond's poor first half proved costly and trailed by 41 points at the main break before eventually being beaten by 15 points.
Simon Keleher was playing his 150th game and didn't let anyone down with another super job at half back as did his other backman Dave Robbins. Boyd Upstill was also excellent at centre half back on a much bigger opponent.
The midfield for Ormond was also effective with Luke Russell and Simon Te Hennepe doing all the hard work around the packs.
The forwards got on top of Hampton in the second half with Matt Martinov kicking 4 second half goals and Rob Chisholm kicking 5 for the game. First senior game player Daniel Willis was also very good kicking 3 goals on debut.
Next week Ormond are at home to Melbourne High School Old Boys and a win will consolidate a spot in the four.
